I went to an estate sale this weekend. It has been fairly widely advertised, so there was quite a crowd, and in every room I went into, people were talking about what an amazing guy this must have been. Guitars, amps, cool art, good tools, at least a thousand vinyl records covering decades, model trains, and more, all of which showed signs of being actually used, but well cared for.

Estate sales can sometimes feel a little sad, but this guy clearly got a lot out of life, to the degree that a house full of strangers were wishing they’d known him.

Anyway, I picked up a little Yamaha FG-45 that sounded pretty good once I put new strings on her.
