Як налаштувати мою нову (використану) систему 3.1 домашнього стерео для музики і чи не пропускаю щось?

I am setting up my first home stereo system and I’m wanting to know if there is anything that needs to be added, would be more ideal to add, or if I have any major bottlenecks in my equipment. I’d also love some tips and advice for dialing it in for my listening preferences.

Please see below for my intended use, sound preferences, current equipment, and what I paid for equipment.

Pics are of the equipment and the new space they’ll be in.

1) Intended use:

The main purpose for my setup will be listening to music, mostly vinyl records. I do also want to use it for home movie watching, but my main focus is for music.

2) Sound preferences:

I’ve been on a big soul and jazz kick these last few years, and have developed a deep love for bass. My music roots are in alternative, indie, punk, and classic rock though. I do also really love rap and r&b.

When listening to music, I love to hear the bass, drums, and keys the most. It’s important to me for my setup to have detail and clarity. At the same time, I do really like a chill, smooth/warm listening experience. Don’t think I’d want it to be too bright and forward which may be a bit contradictory to my last statement lol.

I’m not trying to shake the room with the subwoofer or anything, especially since I’ll be in an apartment. Just want to be able to distinctly hear bass in songs and have it sound high quality.

3) Main questions/concerns:

Would adding a pre-amp to this setup make a worthwhile and noticeable difference? I’m seeing online, and it was mentioned by the person I bought it from, that my record player might need a pre-amp and could potentially be a bottleneck for sound quality in my system.

I’d like to achieve the most balanced set up possible with my equipment. Ideally don’t want anything to be a bottleneck and limiting any of the other equipment.

4) Equipment List:

Towers: Sony SS-U261 (n/a)
Center: Sony SS-CN64 ($20)
Subwoofer: Boston Acoustics CR400 ($40)
Receiver: Sony STR-DH590 (n/a)
Record player: Audio technica AT LP60-USB ($95)

n/a = haven’t talked about a price with my friend/roommate who I’m buying it from lol

5) Additional considerations:

I’m about to move to a studio loft apartment. It’s an old factory building converted into apartments. It’s a 950 sq ft space. The ceiling is really high, like 12 ft I think? The ceiling/floor are made of concrete with tile over it, so my floor is tile and ceiling is concrete. I def have a downstairs neighbor but don’t think I have an upstairs one. Then the two side walls are drywall with neighbors on other side.

I’m excited to hear y’all’s thoughts and ideas! Thank you in advance. 🙂
